Guide and Tour Operator in Austria and the Alpe Adria Region

My name is Wolfgang, and it's my pleasure to introduce groups and individual travellers to the beauties of the ″golden triangle″ made up by the cities of Vienna, Salzburg and Venice. It's a fabulous area full of surprises. Be it a city trip or a hiking tour, a choir camp or a family trip, an active holiday where you will get immersed into the culture and nature of the area or simply a few relaxing days in nature far from the noise of everyday life, everything is possible.

Alpe Adria Tours

The Alpe Adria Region has a lot to offer: high peaks and glaciers, lake districts and pannonian lowlands, green forests, creeks and torrents, hills and fortresses, stunning mountain pass roads, vineyards that turn golden in autumn, fruit tree blossom in spring and more. More...

Salzkammergut Tours

Mysterious lakes, the glaciers of the Dachstein, emperor Franz Joseph's summer palace, or the Sound of Music: there are many reasons why this area is so popular among tourists. Hallstatt may be very crowded in summer, but please do come off-season and enjoy the peaceful silence of a morning at the Hallstatt lake. More...

Music&More: Vienna and Salzburg

Follow in the footsteps of famous composers such as Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, visit concerts, operas, art galleries and palaces, admire the spiritual power of gothic cathedrals, dive into the rich history of the old Habsburg Empire, and last but not least, enjoy good food, cakes and coffee. More...

Families and Children

This tour can be enjoyed by parents and children alike: explore a national park with rangers, make your own pottery, enjoy the oldest amusement park in Vienna, feed animals and milk cows at an organic farm, visit an interactive music museum or the famous Vienna zoo...

Railway Tours

Do you enjoy travelling by train? The good news is that some train lines pass through wonderful and stunning landscapes. The even better news is that the most important unesco heritage sites in Austria can easily be approached by train, and one train line (across the Semmering mountain) is a heritage site in itself.

Choir Camp

Do you have some experience in singing in a choir? Then this might be your choice: Austria has a tradition of choir weeks, where people gather in inspiring places such as monasteries, sing together for a week and perform together in a concert.

The Area where I Guide

Vegetarian Guests

Are you a veggy? No problem, you will enjoy your food. As a veggy, you have two options: (1) you join a normal group and I'll make sure you get proper main dishes on your trip; or (2) I make a special tour for vegetarian guests (only vegetarian food served during the trip). If you prefer option (2), just let me know. As soon as 6 veggies can come together, I will organise a veggy tour!

Guests with Disabilities

From 2016 I'll start organising tours for guests in wheelchairs. We will use specially designed minibusses and travel the most beautiful places in the Alpe Adria Region. If you are interested to join, please don't wait and let me know now so I can keep you updated.

Terms and Conditions

The General terms and conditions of the Austrian travel agencies apply. Prices will depend on hotel category, means of transport (coach or train), season and length of stay. Minimum number of participants depends on the tour. If the number of bookings is less than the minimum number of participants, I reserve the right to cancel the tour down to 30 days prior to departure. You are most welcome to contact me for further information.
